The Hoover Dam Discovery Tour is a self-paced tour, where guides provide talks at various locations within the visitor areas. Located at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center, there are a variety of learning experiences on the tour. Photographs and maps are displayed and in the Exhibit Gallery you can learn about the operation of the Hoover Dam in earlier years and today. You can see a 650-foot wing of the power plant. From the observation deck, you’ll have a beautiful view of Lake Mead and the Colorado River. Snacks and souvenirs are available.
